The goal of this group is to provide informal support for mothers and caregivers. As caregivers, you are actively helping to develop your child’s social and emotional skills by assisting them with everyday challenges. This group is an opportunity to discuss parenting challenges and strategies that arise when parenting a preschool aged child (ages 3-5). This group will allow an opportunity to get to know other parents who are in similar situations whether it be to discuss parental stress, lack of time for self-care, behavioral challenges or stigmatization that comes with parenting a child with behavioral concerns. The group will focus on learning strategies and interventions effective for parenting children with several different diagnoses (e.g. ADHD, ODD, anxiety). The group will also work on identifying different parenting styles and their effectiveness in a child’s development.

The group meetings will be led by Lauren Wenclewicz and will take place at our office in Yardley, PA. These group meetings will begin on Wednesday, October 4th from 10:00am to 11:00a and will run every Wednesday at 10:00am for 8 weeks.
