Experience & Practices Brenna started her career as a therapist in 2017. She started her journey in Holy Family’s 4+2 program to further her education. While at Holy Family University, Brenna completed 4 years of extensive training on how to utilize mediums to benefit the therapeutic process for clients. By taking art classes (e.g. ceramics, painting, watercolor, printmaking, and sculpture), Brenna learned how to adapt to mediums to best benefit her clients. With the use of art therapy, Brenna hopes to help create a safe space for clients to create artwork that benefits the goals for each client. After completing her bachelors, Brenna returned to school to complete her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a specification in Art Therapy. While completing her Master’s degree, Brenna worked in the role of a Behavioral Health Technician directly with Behavioral Specialists to enforce treatment plans and utilize interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She plans to utilize her experience to adapt treatment plans that suit best with individuals and their families. Brenna works with a holistic view of treatment to help increase confidence, reduce anxiety and depression, promote stress management, improve social skills and communication, and more. Brenna is currently working towards completing her hours to obtain her board certification from the Art Therapy Board (ATR-BC) and become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
