Lauren Wenclewicz, PLC

My name is Lauren Wenclewicz and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Behavioral Specialist (LBS) located in Yardley, PA. I currently work with children (ages 4-12), as well as teenagers (ages 13-18) who experience difficulties with hyperactivity (e.g. attention, lack of focus, school problems), impulsivity, oppositional defiance, anxiety (e.g. social anxiety, generalized anxiety), as well as adjustment issues (e.g. divorce, change in school or family dynamics). I also have a history of working with clients on the ASD spectrum and have a history of working on social skills (e.g. social boundaries, empathy, perspective taking). I currently focus on utilizing CBT techniques, strength based and solution-focused techniques to help challenge thoughts and focus on strengths and solutions to help clients focus on solutions rather than problems.”

Lauren began her career as a therapist in 2019, following her transition from the teaching world into counseling. It became her mission to help children and adolescents across settings, and she quickly realized a passion for helping both children and adolescents struggling with ADHD, ODD, ASD and anxiety. In 2019, she graduated with her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and later obtained her LBS (Licensed Behavioral Specialist). In addition to her LBS, Lauren is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She plans to focus on working with children and adolescents who exhibit signs of hyperactivity, impulsivity, oppositional defiance and anxiety, as she knows first-hand how this affects individuals across settings. Lauren has experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy and primarily utilizes CBT techniques. Her experience both in and out of the classroom setting makes her uniquely attuned to the needs of individuals and families.
